New Visions Academy is a K-8 grade charter school located in Northeast Minneapolis. Our 210 students reflect the diversity of the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. Since 1994 our teachers have provided students with the academic and social foundation and have been changing lives by the integration of social skills, family involvement and academic.

From our all day free Kindergarten program through eighth grade, New Visions educates the whole child through language arts, technology, science and math. As students grow and develop they are not only encouraged to maximize their potential as a student but to form lasting friendships as they work cooperatively in their classrooms, participate together in school activities and engage in community service projects.

We provide programming in Title I, ESL, Special Education, Extended Day and Summer Enrichment Classes. Most importantly, we provide a school climate where both academic achievement and a caring community are valued.
